WEDNESDAY 7:30 - 9 Malia Scharf Breathwork Class
Suggested donation sliding scale 10-20. 10 spaces available.  Please RSVP to malia.scharf@gmail.com

Breathwork is a self-healing active meditation technique that is available to you simply with intention and breath. This practice allows you to release emotional gunk such as frustration, anger, and grief as you allow your heart to soften and open, making room for love and healing to come through. This is an opportunity to let your body reset itself and allow your mind to take a break. The beauty of this work is that it gets to places and emotions we didn't even know were there.

We come together on this New Moon to make space for our dreams and plant our seeds.  Now more than ever we are being called to align with our highest selves and dreams. Self-care and love is a radical practice. This is a drug free experience that is likely to get you high and woke in the best way. I humbly open this experience of transformation in whatever way you need. Come breath yourself clean and leave feeling open, inspired, light, and ready to receive.

Malia will be fully present with some sweet tunes, essential oils and smudges to assist you in your healing journey.

Malia is a woman, writer, healer, creator, empath and earth lover. She finds balance in living life in tune with nature, and doing the work to empower and know herself as she learns to uplift and empower others. She has studied and practiced energy work and breathwork and embraced yoga, plant medicine, and sacred ceremonies as some of her beloved allies in life.

Bring an eye cover if you have one.

HERBAN CURA YOGA CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

Aya Munayaki WITH MARIA

Maria began her yoga practice with Sri Dharma Mittra three years ago and deepend the learning with Yogaveda's teacher training program. She offers an hour-long Hatha practice. It's time to deepen the awareness in the body, move, sustain and invite breath into every moment. She teaches what she practices, the cultivation for deeper receptivity in order to harmonize, align and evolve. Seeing herself transform through yogic practices she's happy to share this practice with anyone who feels inspired to join. This class is offered to all levels.

Yoga for Deep Healing WITH SEBASTIAN

A holistic class combining various traditions to address deeply rooted, chronic, and subtle tension and imbalance. We will practice three things in combination to achieve a deep strengthening and retraining of the nervous, muscular, and skeletal systems: deepening our mental awareness into other realms of bodily experience, creating freedom in our breathing, and a very slow movement practice that will work with the strength of the breath, core, and spine to reopen the natural flows of our energetic pathways.
Yoga WITH ANTONIA

Antonia received her yoga teacher certification from Sivananda Yoga in 2013.  For the past four years she has been practicing contact improv and other forms of body movement. Her class blends dance teachings with her Hatha yoga training to inspire a more intuitive and connected practice.

Welcome to CHANGES, a place temporarily located at 19 Essex Street, NY, NY 10002.

CHANGES is a trans/fluid project inspired by anarchist bookstores, DIY project spaces, intentional communities, apartment galleries, junk shops and community centers.

WHO IS CHANGES?
“We” is simply the group of people accumulating at the bottom of this page. Hopefully it will grow to incorporate as wide a community as possible of artists, musicians, activists, poets, writers, thinkers, teachers and other creative, thoughtful people. So, please pass this on to the people you consider community. Our temporary location was generously donated by Nancy Linn and Eva Lewitt.

WHAT HAPPENS AT CHANGES?
Who knows?! Changes is open to all kinds of projects and ideas. Changes will be set up as a clubhouse, library and shop where you can buy goods like: herbs, zines, tea, clothing, chapbooks, mixtapes, jewelry, non-archival artworks, textiles, ceramics, perfume, patches and other wearable means of communication, rugs and general political, healing and spiritual paraphernalia. The goods for sale are a mixture of for and not-for-profit. Proceeds from non-profit sales will go to orgs chosen by each artist.

The space is open for a variety of activities like: political events, discussions, seances, skill-shares, yoga, treatments, dinner, lunch, breakfast, snacks, tea, meditation circles, chill zone, concerts, jam sessions, movies, draw-ins, art therapy, sound baths, reading groups, clothing swaps, stitch & bitches and performances.

All news and updates will be recorded on this blog and on our instagram account @chhhanges. If you'd like to send us an email to join/participate/communicate, our address is transchanges@gmail.com.

CHANGES is accessibly located on the ground floor.
